Carlos Ancelotti and Florent Malouda celebrate title success

Carlos Ancelotti's manager Chelsea won the premier league title in style on the final day of the season, beating Wigan Athletic 8-0 at Stamford bridge to set a new record of 103 goals scored in a single league campaign.

Dethroned champions Manchester United beat Stoke 4-0 at Old Trafford but needed the blues to drop point at home and despite signing off with win a Sir Alex Ferguson's side missed out on an unprecedented fourth consecutive championship.

But Sir Alex quickly turns his thoughts to challenging for the 2010/11 championships. "We won the last three titles and that was fantastic. The players have been great. We'll come back next year, that's exactly what Manchester United do."
