Barton celebrates his return with a goal.Newcastle picked up a vital win as they beat West Brom 2-1 at St James' Park on Tuesday night. Joey Barton capped his return to the side with the first as he netted a penalty after Shola Ameobi was brought down by Ryan Donk, before Obafemi Martins was left with a free header just before the half. Ishmael Miller got one back for the Baggies, but Newcastle held firm to take all three points.
